Having recently moved to North London, I am always on the look out for exciting things to do that are closer to home and out of the hustle and bustle of central London. For my two lovely friend’s birthdays, I was lucky enough to find Grace and Beauty – a cute boutique beauty salon – for a unique birthday treat. It was so fab, I thought I would share with you all.
A corner unit with large windows, Grace and Beauty has been up and running for the past two years founded by the wonderful Grace Long. From “mani-es” to “pedi-es”, massages to a fake bake spray tans, Grace does it all – and very professionally too.
What I particularly liked, and treated my friends to, was one of the Grace & Beauty Pamper Parties. The parties offer each guest to the option of two treatments, food and a bottle of bubbly (or soft drinks for under 18s) for a bargain busting £30 p.person. They make for great birthday presents, a unique way to celebrate a special occasion or merely for a get together. Grace was a superb host and made us all feel at ease and at home in the glamourous yet comfortable surroundings of her Kilburn salon.
Myself and Emma decided on a mani & pedi and a spray tan whilst Reef opted for a mani & pedi plus a massage. We were very pleased with the results of our fake tans – no streaks at all! And the Essie mani and pedi lasted without any chips for at least two weeks.
Two very happy birthday girls and one very happy customer – we will all definitely be heading back for more treatments soon!
